Can you show cover type on a hunting forty?
Broadly, yes. Popple, oak, cedar swamp, openings and old logging cuts are distinguishable from above, and the boundary shows which of it is inside your line. Buyers use it to find the bedding and the edges before they walk it.
Will adjoining state or federal land be visible?
The context map shows what surrounds the parcel, which is how most Michigan buyers check whether they are backed up against public land. Ownership of neighboring ground should still be confirmed with the county.
How recent is the imagery on a Michigan parcel?
The licensed coverage for Michigan is usually one to three years old, and every pack carries its render date. A popple cut from last winter or a new trail will not appear until the next flight. Anything that changed since the flight will not be in it.
