Dirt Flight, instant aerial imagery
Aerial 3D view of a rural Nebraska land parcel with the boundary outlined

Aerial photos of land in Nebraska.

Send a Nebraska APN and the county it sits in. Dirt Flight builds the boundary from that county's own parcel records and renders the full aerial pack in about ten minutes. A Sandhills ranch in Cherry County and a pivot quarter in Buffalo County come back the same way, in the same ten minutes.

The short answer
Updated August 2026

Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a Nebraska parcel, enter the county and the APN. The boundary is drawn from county assessor parcel data and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 93 counties render.

Why Nebraska is different

Ranches too big to see from a pickup.

A Nebraska ranch can run several sections, and nobody drives all of it on a showing. What sells it is the layout: where the water is, how the pastures are fenced, which meadows cut hay, where the blowouts are. On pivot ground, whether the circle is fully on the tract at all.

County assessor parcel data is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. A ranch in Cherry County renders in the same ten minutes as a quarter in Douglas County, and windmills, tanks, meadows and cross fencing read plainly from above.

Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.

Rendered in Nebraska

One APN. Everything below.

One parcel, one APN. Pine Ridge canyon country in Sioux County. Ponderosa on the west line, a timbered creek down the middle, chalk bluffs on the rim, and 624 feet of relief across 243 acres.

Where Nebraska land actually trades.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.

Do not see your county? Every one of the 93 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.

Nebraska questions

Asked by people selling Nebraska ground.

Which Nebraska counties can you do?

Send the county and the APN and we go straight to that county's own parcel records. Coverage varies: some states publish one statewide layer, others leave it county by county. If yours is one where the records are not public, you hear it from us before anything is charged.

How much does a drone photographer cost for a rural Nebraska listing?

Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A Nebraska pilot quotes the shoot plus the drive, and covering a whole ranch takes more than one battery and more than one trip. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.

Can you cover a whole multi-section ranch?

Yes. Adjoining parcels entered together merge into one boundary, so a ranch made of a dozen APNs renders as a single outline instead of a dozen separate images. That is the main reason ranch sellers use it.

Will windmills, tanks and cross fences be visible?

Typically. Tanks, windmills, cross fences, corrals and the trailed paths cattle wear in are all visible from above, and subirrigated meadow reads darker than dry grass. The contour map shows the hills and blowouts.

How recent is the imagery on a Nebraska parcel?

Expect one to three years, and check the date stamped on the pack. A new tank, a rebuilt fence or a fresh pivot will not appear until the next flight. The elevation data behind the contour map runs on its own refresh cycle.

What exactly comes back for a Nebraska APN?

One outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, one 18 second orbit video, a contour map, a context map and a parcel info sheet. Step up to Paydirt for road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and the full resolution files. Nebraska ranch sellers use the merged outline and the contour map together.

Got a Nebraska parcel under contract?

Send the county and the APN. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
