Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a Massachusetts parcel, enter the county and the APN. The boundary is drawn from the statewide cadastral layer and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 14 counties render.
Most Massachusetts land trades in single lots, and what matters is the surroundings: what abuts, where the wetland sits, how the frontage meets the road, whether the buildable part is the front or the back. A photo of a stone wall and some oaks does not answer any of it.
The statewide cadastral layer is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. A lot in Berkshire County renders in the same ten minutes as one in Bristol County, and wetland, stone wall lines and cleared area read clearly from above.
Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.
One parcel, one APN. Oak and pine across most of it, wetland in the back corner, and town road frontage along the south line.
Everything in the pack
Every view below came back from one parcel number, in about ten minutes, with no pilot and no site visit.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.
Do not see your county? Every one of the 14 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.
Send the county and the APN and we go straight to that county's own parcel records. Coverage varies: some states publish one statewide layer, others leave it county by county. If yours is one where the records are not public, you hear it from us before anything is charged.
Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A Massachusetts pilot quotes a minimum for a single lot that often costs more than the lot's whole marketing budget. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.
Usually yes. Wetland vegetation, sitting water and the wet dark ground read from above, and the contour map shows the low end. This is a visual read from imagery, not a wetland delineation, and buyers here should expect to order one.
That is the case where it helps most. One outlined top down shows the shape, the frontage and what abuts, which is what buyers of small New England lots spend a site visit figuring out.
Expect one to three years, and check the date stamped on the pack. A new clearing or a driveway cut from this year will not show until the next flight. The elevation data behind the contour map runs on its own refresh cycle.
One outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, one 18 second orbit video, a contour map, a context map and a parcel info sheet. Step up to Paydirt for road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and the full resolution files. On small Massachusetts lots the outlined top down does most of the work.
Send the county and the APN. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
