Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a New York parcel, enter the county and the APN. The boundary is drawn from the statewide cadastral layer and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 62 counties render.
Upstate tracts are mostly reverting farmland: hedgerow, old pasture filling with brush, hardwood on the steep, a seasonal road in. Buyers want the shape of the whole thing, the openings, and where the ridge sits relative to the line.
The statewide cadastral layer is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. A tract in Delaware County renders in the same ten minutes as a lot in Erie County, and old field, hedgerow and hardwood separate clearly from above.
Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.
One parcel, one APN. Old pasture filling in on the flat, hardwood up the ridge, and a seasonal town road along the north line.
Everything in the pack
Every view below came back from one parcel number, in about ten minutes, with no pilot and no site visit.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.
Do not see your county? Every one of the 62 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.
Send the county and the APN and we go straight to that county's own parcel records. Coverage varies: some states publish one statewide layer, others leave it county by county. If yours is one where the records are not public, you hear it from us before anything is charged.
Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A New York pilot quotes the shoot plus the drive, and getting to a tract in the Southern Tier eats an afternoon. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.
Clearly. Old pasture, brush, hedgerow and mature hardwood all read differently from above, and the boundary shows which of them is on your side of the line. Hunting buyers use it to find the edges.
Yes, the render works the same, and the context map shows what surrounds the parcel including adjoining state land. Land use rules inside the parks are their own matter and we do not interpret them.
One to three years old, typically, with the render date printed on the pack. A cut from last winter or brush hogged field edges will not appear until the next flight. We would rather say that plainly than let a buyer assume the image is from last week.
Everything in one download: outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video, contour map, context map and parcel info sheet. Paydirt adds road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and full resolution files. New York buyers use the top down for the openings and the contour map for the ridge.
Send the county and the APN. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
