Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a Rhode Island parcel, enter the town and the plat and lot number. The boundary is drawn from the statewide cadastral layer and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 5 counties render.
In Rhode Island almost nothing sells on acreage alone. It sells on where the lot sits: frontage, what abuts, the wet corner, the buildable part. A single outlined aerial answers in one frame what a buyer would otherwise ask three questions to get to.
The statewide cadastral layer is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. A lot in Washington County renders in the same ten minutes as one in Providence County, and stone walls, wetland and cleared area separate at a glance.
Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.
One parcel, one APN. Hardwood timber wrapped around open fields and a pond, 162 ft of relief, and 4,730 ft of town road frontage down the east and south lines.
Everything in the pack
Every view below came back from one parcel number, in about ten minutes, with no pilot and no site visit.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.
Do not see your county? Every one of the 5 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.
Send the town and the plat and lot number. Rhode Island publishes one statewide parcel layer, so all 39 towns are covered by the same records and there is no town we have to turn away.
Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A Rhode Island pilot quotes a shoot minimum that a single small lot rarely justifies. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.
On small lots it does the most work. One outlined top down shows shape, frontage and what abuts, which is what a buyer spends a site visit figuring out. It is also the only way to show a back lot with no clearing.
Usually. Wetland vegetation, sitting water and the dark wet ground read from above, and the contour map shows the low end. It is a visual read from imagery, not a delineation.
Expect one to three years, and check the date stamped on the pack. A new clearing or a driveway cut will not show until the next flight. The elevation data behind the contour map runs on its own refresh cycle.
One outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, one 18 second orbit video, a contour map, a context map and a parcel info sheet. Step up to Paydirt for road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and the full resolution files. On Rhode Island lots the outlined top down is most of the listing.
Send the town and the plat and lot number. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
