Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a Connecticut parcel, enter the county and the APN. The boundary is drawn from township and county parcel data and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map that shows the ledge and the wet ground. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 8 counties render.
Connecticut land moves in ten and twenty acre pieces, usually wooded, often sitting behind older subdivisions, frequently split by wetland or ledge. From the road a buyer sees trees. What they need is where the wet ground sits, where the ledge outcrops and whether there is a way in.
Township and county parcel data is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. Contours show the ledge and the drop to the brook, and the outlined top down shows how the lot sits against the neighbors, which is most of the conversation on small New England parcels.
Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.
One parcel, one APN, everything below. Mixed hardwood, a brook along the back line, and a stone wall marking the old field edge.
Everything in the pack
Every view below came back from one parcel number, in about ten minutes, with no pilot and no site visit.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.
Do not see your county? Every one of the 8 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.
Send the county and the APN and we go straight to that county's own parcel records. Coverage varies: some states publish one statewide layer, others leave it county by county. If yours is one where the records are not public, you hear it from us before anything is charged.
Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A pilot here quotes a shoot fee that is hard to justify on an eleven acre wooded lot, and half the tract is under canopy anyway. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.
Wet ground, brook lines and open ledge read from above, and the contour map shows the pitch and the low spots. Canopy hides some detail, which is exactly why contours are in the base pack rather than an upgrade.
The boundary is drawn against the road and the adjoining parcels, so where frontage exists it is visible, and where the lot sits behind others that is visible too. Legal access is a title question rather than an imagery one.
Most Connecticut counties are flown on a one to three year cycle, and the render date is stamped on the pack. A new clearing or a stone wall pushed out last fall will not show until the next flight. Elevation data behind the contour map is refreshed on its own schedule.
The pack is an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video, a contour map, a context map and a parcel info sheet. Paydirt also brings road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and the full resolution files. On small Connecticut lots the outlined top down is the listing.
Send the county and the APN. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
