Dirt Flight, instant aerial imagery
Aerial 3D view of a rural Florida land parcel with the boundary outlined

Aerial photos of land in Florida.

Send a Florida APN and the county it sits in. Dirt Flight builds the boundary from that county's own parcel records and renders the full aerial pack in about ten minutes. Nobody drives out to Hendry County to photograph twenty acres. No travel charge on a parcel where the road turns to limerock.

The short answer
Updated August 2026

Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service. To get aerial photos of a Florida parcel, enter the county and the APN. The boundary is drawn from county GIS parcel data and the pack renders in about ten minutes: an outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, an 18 second orbit video and a contour map that shows the two feet of relief that matter. Nobody flies out, so there is no travel charge, and all 67 counties render.

Why Florida is different

Wet or dry is the entire question.

Florida land is sold on whether it floods. Interior parcels in Highlands, Hendry and Baker, cutover pine, palmetto and pasture, plus platted lots on canal systems that never got built. Standing water in August and dry sand in April look nothing alike.

County GIS parcel data is what the boundary is drawn from, so coverage here is complete rather than partial. Aerial imagery shows the wet signature, the cypress dome and the ditch network, and the contour map shows the two feet of relief that decide where a pad can go.

Boundaries are approximate, from public parcel data, and are not a survey.

Florida counties

Where Florida land actually trades.

These are the ones land buyers ask for most, each with its own page.

Do not see your county? Every one of the 67 renders. Send the APN and it comes back the same ten minutes.

Florida questions

Asked by people selling Florida ground.

Which Florida counties can you do?

Send the county and the APN and we go straight to that county's own parcel records. Coverage varies: some states publish one statewide layer, others leave it county by county. If yours is one where the records are not public, you hear it from us before anything is charged.

How much does a drone photographer cost for a rural Florida listing?

Dirt Flight is not a drone photography service, so this is not our fee. A Florida pilot quotes the shoot plus the drive, and interior parcels in Hendry or Okeechobee County are hours from the coast where the pilots are. Dirt Flight renders the parcel from licensed aerial imagery and public elevation data instead of sending anyone up in the air, so there is no travel charge, no scheduling and no weather day.

Can a buyer see whether the parcel is wet?

The imagery shows the signs: cypress heads, dark wet ground, ditch lines and the vegetation that only grows where water stands. With two foot contours that is usually enough to know where a pad would go. Wetland jurisdiction is a survey and permitting question, not an imagery one.

Does it work on platted canal lots and small interior lots?

Yes, and it matters more there. Where a thousand identical quarter acre lots sit on paper roads, the outlined boundary and the context map are the only way a buyer sees which lot is which and what is actually built around it.

How recent is the imagery on a Florida parcel?

Expect one to three years, and check the date stamped on the pack. A fresh clearing or a new fill pad will not appear until the next flight. The elevation data behind the contour map runs on its own refresh cycle.

What exactly comes back for a Florida APN?

One outlined top down, four cardinal 3D views, one 18 second orbit video, a contour map, a context map and a parcel info sheet. Step up to Paydirt for road frontage views, infrared, a social kit and the full resolution files. Florida buyers read the wet ground off the top down and the contour map.

Got a Florida parcel under contract?

Send the county and the APN. If your invite is not open yet we will still look at the first one by hand.
